Emperor's Crypt
Not only for fans of the Empress Elizabeth - in the vernacular affectionately called Sissi - is the imperial crypt a must for visitors to Vienna. The burial place of the Habsburgers impresses through quiet splendor and its demonstration of imperial power. Renowned regents of the former Austrian-Hungarian K. & K. monarchy are buried in the Kapuzinergruft. Their last resting place was meticulously renovated during the past years and is now accessible to the public again.Tegetthoffstraße 2, 1010 Wien
